What We Believe

We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died and rose again to save us from our sins.  We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and recognize it as authoritative in matters of faith and practice.  We believe that all people matter to God, and therefore they matter to us.  We believe that the church should be culturally relevant without compromising the doctrines of the Christian faith.

We believe that corporate worship is fundamental to the well-being of each believer and the Body of Christ as a whole.  We believe that followers of Christ should strive for continuous personal spiritual growth.  We believe that transformation happens best through worship, Bible Study, prayer, service, small groups and other spiritual disciplines.  We believe that it is our duty to obey Christ’s command to make disciples of all people.

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, and therefore should operate as a unified community.  We believe that only excellence in all things is good enough for God.  We believe that every disciple needs to be equipped to use their spiritual gifts to build up the Body of Christ.  We believe Christians should be personally involved in local, national, and international missions.
