Inspirata is a unit of Inspirata Films, and has been providing specialized web design and hosting services for indie filmmakers, nonprofits, and churches under the Inspirata logo for nearly fifteen years. But that only scratches the surface of our experience!
The Inspirata team has provided web services for nonprofits and churchs literally since the dawn of the internet. Over many years, we've identified the basic services and needs of churches, and been frustrated by the overly complicated software that baffles even experienced web users. Over the years, we've tested and used dozens of CMS systems, only a few of which were really workable for average users. We were delighted to discover the elegant and streamlined work of programmer Chris Cagle and his team in the CMS called Simple. Working with Chris and specialized plugins from programmer Martin Vlcek, we are able to provide a rock-solid, reliable, simple-to-use interface that a pastor or church secretary can master in short order.
Of course, though Simple is quite powerful and works for lots of websites, larger and more complex installations need horsepower that Simple can't provide. For those sites, we are recommending WordPress, which has become ubiquitous and is used for thousands of sites. We offer an optimized installation of WordPress with security plugins and monthly automated backup. Custom installations of e-commerce software such as WooCommerce, ZenCart, and OpenCart are also available.
